With his performance at Gucci’s Sound of Change benefit, it’s no surprise that R&B singer-songwriter John Legend is spreading Summer Love with the help of Frida Giannini. The house’s creative director is outfitting Legend for his international tour which launched on July 5 in Belgium. During the 19-city run, Legend will rock suede bombers, leather jackets, and expertly-tailored suits to serenade audiences from Toronto to Tokyo. With James Franco already lending his face to the brand, we’re delighted with this heap of good-looking guys in Gucci. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Cara Delevingne and her perfect eyebrows returned to New York City for DKNY‘s Fall 2013 campaign. The Mikael Jansson-shot ads find Delevingne on a taxi, in a taxi, and serving major face while local artist Curtis Kulig brands pay phones and cabs with her name. [ELLE]

In other fashion ad news, Delevingne’s BFF—and design buddyRita Ora has made her official debut as the new face of Material Girl. A first look at the campaign sees Ora giving a Buckingham Palace-approved salute topped off with a bearskin hat. Not sure those will come into style next season, but Ora’s bravado and bold style fit the Madonna-backed label to the letter. [Marie Claire UK]

If you weren’t a makeup junkie circa 1990, then you missed out on M.A.C. fan favorites like a matte-orange Tomango lip or muted, shimmery green Fiction eye. Lucky for you, the cosmetics company is bringing that old thing back with a second M.A.C. by Request collection. Now through July 21, you can vote daily on your favorite throwback lipstick or eyeshadow shade; the top three from each category will be resurrected for a limited-edition run next spring. Dreaming of a L’Wren Scott holiday? Well, your wish has been granted. The designer’s namesake line is collaborating with Banana Republic for a 50-piece collection that will hit stores on December 5. “L’Wren really understands what a woman loves and wants to wear,” said Banana Republic creative director Simon Kneen. “Her knack for bringing imaginative versatility and femininity to classic design is something that immediately brought us together as creatives.” [Vogue UK]

Before she became an authority at Vogue Paris or the force behind CR Fashion BookCarine Roitfeld was a model with a Minnie Mouse obsession. The stylist flashed back to that time in a Sweet 16 spread, shot by Sebastian Faena for V (yes, the one with Prince on the cover), where she lives vicariously through Next model Dalianah Arekion. After beating out Timo Weiland, Creatures of the Wind, and Ohne Titel, Joseph Altuzarra will go on to represent the U.S. in the 2013/14 International Woolmark Prize. His regional win earned $100,000 and the chance to vie for his wool work to be sold at Bergdorf Goodman in New York, Harvey Nichols in London, David Jones in Australia, and Joyce in China. [Vogue UK]

Jil Sander took it back to black-and-white for its Fall 2013 campaign featuring Marc Jacobs and Lanvin’s muse du jour Edie Campbell. Apparently tweed, leather, and her impossibly long limbs are in. [Fashion Gone Rogue]
